Intellectual Property Services

End-to-end IP protection, prosecution and enforcement for brands, creators and technology businesses.

01

Trademark Search & Registration

A trademark is your brand name, logo or tagline. We first search the register to check the name is available, then file in the correct class of goods or services and follow the application through to registration (typically 8–18 months).

02

Trademark Objections & Oppositions

If the Registry raises an objection (an examination report) or a third party opposes your mark, we draft the reply, appear at hearings and contest the opposition so your application is not abandoned.

03

Copyright Registration & Protection

Copyright protects original creative work — software code, written content, artwork, music, films and course material. Registration is not compulsory but gives you clean proof of ownership if you ever need to sue.

04

Patent Filing & Prosecution Support

Patents protect a new invention or technical process. We assist with patentability searches, provisional and complete specifications, filing, and responding to the examiner's objections.

05

Design Registration

Protects how a product looks — its shape, pattern, configuration or ornamentation — as opposed to how it works. Useful for furniture, packaging, jewellery, consumer devices and apparel.

06

IP Licensing & Assignment

Agreements to let someone else use your IP for a fee (licence) or to transfer ownership entirely (assignment), including franchise, royalty and technology-transfer terms.

07

IP Infringement & Enforcement

Action against copycats — cease-and-desist notices, civil suits for injunction and damages, criminal complaints against counterfeiters, and customs recordal to stop fake goods at the border.

08

Brand Protection Strategy

A plan covering which marks to register in which classes and countries, domain and social handle protection, online marketplace takedowns, and renewal tracking so protection never lapses.

Frequently Asked

Do I really need to register a trademark if I already have a company name and GST?

Yes. Company registration, a domain name and GST only confirm you exist — none of them give you the exclusive right to a brand name. Only a trademark does. Without it, another business can register the same name and force you to rebrand after you have spent years building goodwill. Registration takes roughly 8–18 months, but protection dates back to your filing date, and you can use the ™ symbol from day one.
